Mother’s are your best friend and so much more
I wish this was something I understood before

Father’s are your foundation to the relationship you’ll build
They also supply the heat you get when you’re feeling chilled

Sister’s are the people in which you can confide
Safely tell your secrets that they will always hide

Brother’s will defend you in even the smallest battle
Inspite of the thousand times on him you may tattle

Grandmother’s are always full of love and like to let you know
They like to guide you with their wisdom especially from the cold snow

Grandfather’s love to spoil you no matter what your age
They usually come to see you when they hear your page

Aunt’s come in different forms from the party type to the business type
But no matter what type of life they’re love for you will always be ripe

Uncle’s like to make you tough with their teasing and their wrestling
But leave the lectures for the parents because they know it’s the best thing

Cousin’s come in different forms but all can be just as fun
They can teach you things when you thought your learning’s done

Children give you so much pride no matter what they do
They are always able to surprise you with that something new

Pet’s you can always count on whether feeling up or down
Even when you don’t want them to they’ll always be around
