If we were to be granted just one night
Just the two of us and no worries of getting caught

And be at peace for we could not be harmed
No one else would exist in this world

Our clothes on the ground all together swirled

For we’d have all night to express our love
With emotions revealed passion is high
The reality of life aside we would shove
And nothing at all matters but you and I
For this night to end will be a shame
and our hearts impossible to tame
For just one night alone with you
Would change our lives forever
And we both know this fact to be true
Our hearts may beg to put us together
Our lives may continue to pull us apart
We know that our time will one day arrive
When we can be together for more than a night
